Product overview
- Film category: Vehicle Wraps
- Finish: Chrome
- Colour family: Blue
Most chrome wraps come in the same handful of silvers and golds. TeckWrap’s Indigo Chrome doesn’t. It runs a deep indigo-blue mirror that bends and travels the reflection with every angle.
Key Attributes
- Indigo mirror finish: deep indigo-blue mirror chrome that shifts and bends light at every angle
- Chrome construction: conformable PVC film with a metallic silver coating for a true reflective mirror surface
- High-impact shine: a liquid-metal mirror reflection built for accents and statement panels
- Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based moderate adhesive, removable and gentle on factory paint
- Controlled placement: air-release channels and a stable film, under 0.20% shrinkage, for precise application
- Installer-grade: limited stretch by design, best applied by experienced installers on partial wraps with steam or IR heat
Indigo Chrome is a statement finish, not a subtle one. The mirror surface throws a deep indigo-blue reflection that warps and travels as the car moves, the kind of look that turns a roof, hood, or accent panel into the centerpiece of a build. Like all true chromes it trades stretch for shine, so it lives on partial wraps and detail work rather than full bodies, and it rewards an experienced installer working with controlled heat. Done right, nothing flat or painted comes close to the depth of a moving chrome reflection.
OEM Match
- Closest to GM Indigo Blue Metallic a genuine factory color code Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, and Pontiac have used since the early 1990s, and still in production today.
- Same violet-leaning family as BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue Metallic, owners describe it as carrying “a slight purple tinge” with heavy pearlescent sparkle, the same undertone this chrome throws in changing light.
- Deeper than Nissan’s Bayside Blue (R34 GT-R, color code TV2), Bayside Blue runs as a punchier, more vivid metallic blue with just a touch of violet mixed in; Indigo Chrome sits darker and more dramatic in that same blue-violet family.
Colour selection: Screen colours vary by device and lighting. For colour-critical work, inspect a physical TeckWrap swatch before ordering. Professional preparation and installation are recommended.
