French Olive is the vintage European luxury olive of the catalog, a muted olive with a yellow-green undertone and an earthy organic base, sitting in classic Porsche Olivgrün PTS territory and modern Audi District/Goodwood green rather than military or utility olive. It transforms heavily under light: warm sun reveals a golden olive bronze, shadow brings out moss green, cloud pulls it toward a military sage, and direct reflections turn it almost metallic sage. It’s glossier, cleaner, and a touch more saturated than vintage OEM olive paint, with less brown muddiness and more luxury depth.
This is the vintage European luxury olive of the green lineup. It sits among three olives, and the split matters: Moss Green is the lighter adventure-pastel olive, Camouflage Green is the cooler stealth olive-grey, and French Olive is the warm, yellow-green, light-shifting one with the Porsche heritage. (The lane also holds Wilderness Green’s metallic expedition green, Gecko’s neon performance, Gable’s gemstone emerald, Tiffany’s candy-mint, and Amphibian’s BRG emerald.) One positioning note worth making plainly: unlike most aftermarket olive wraps, French Olive does not go swampy, dirty, or army-drab, and the gloss is what keeps it on the luxury side of that line. It suits European luxury sedans and SUVs: an Audi A6, A8, S8, RS6, Q7, or Q8, a Porsche 911, Cayenne, or Macan, a Land Rover Defender or Range Rover Sport, a BMW M5, X5, or X7, a Mercedes S-Class, GLS, or G-Class, a Bentley Bentayga, a Lexus LX or GX, a Genesis G90, or a Volvo XC90.
On OEM references the primary anchor is Porsche Olive Green from the PTS palette, with the Audi District Green and Goodwood Green family as the modern vintage-sport match, and Land Rover’s earthy British SUV greens alongside.
