Satin Dark Platinum Vinyl Wrap (ECH21)

Product overview

• Film category: Vehicle Wraps
• Finish: Satin
• Colour family: Grey & Silver

Most dark greys read as either industrial gunmetal or a flat, lifeless charcoal. Dark Platinum does neither. It holds a refined, deep grey with a smooth satin sheen, closer to polished platinum than shop-floor steel.

Key Attributes

• Refined deep grey: a precious-metal quality rather than an industrial or flat tone
• Smooth satin sheen: enough sheen to read as considered and finished, without the flash of a bright metallic
• Engineered finish: high-grade polymeric calendared vinyl film with air-release channels for a smooth, even satin
• Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and weather-resistant, removes residue-free
• Deep conformability: stretches over flat panels, moderate curves, and deep recesses with inlays
• Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory finish underneath

Dark Platinum sits in the quiet, refined end of TeckWrap’s grey lineup. It doesn’t chase the industrial edge of a gunmetal or the graphite haze of a smoky grey, and it isn’t as flat as a true matte finish either. Instead it holds a deep, considered grey with just enough satin sheen to look finished and deliberate in any light, precious metal rather than raw metal. It’s built for owners who want a grey that reads expensive and calm rather than aggressive or industrial.

OEM Match

• Closest to Porsche Agate Grey Metallic
• Same refined, precious-metal quality as Volvo’s Osmium Grey
• Warmer and more finished than a flat industrial gunmetal
• Quieter than a bright performance-silver metallic

That refined platinum-grey finish that shows up on Porsche and Volvo’s quieter special colors now fits a Camry, Accord, or Grand Cherokee just as easily as a Cayenne or XC90
